Supporting and improving curriculums in ‘universities for education’ to cultivate preliminary teachers to promote Creativity Education.

A leading website for creativity education, offering an array of programs and materials for education as well as various creative hands-on activity resources.
Education for Sustainable Development (ESD)
Supporting teacher training programs and developing/providing leading programs to promote ESD.
STEAM Education Programs
Supporting research to discover and develop effective, applicable STEAM content for teachers in schools, and renovating education to improve understanding and interest of students in science and technology.
STEAM Education Teachers’ Research Society
Improving the STEAM educational research capabilities of teachers through cooperation between subject teachers and STEAM field experts. Building a foundation for fostering creative convergent talents through the development and dissemination of STEAM teaching.
STEAM Education Teacher Training
To manifest quality STEAM education in the field, we operate online introductory training, basic, intense and management-level teacher education centers.
Convergent Student Research Tasks (STEAM R&E)
We support student-centered research tasks (STEAM Research & Education) that improves real life problem-solving abilities and research capabilities of natural science students. This is achieved through research guidance for professional and in-person research.
Out-of-School STEAM Programs
Providing elementary and middle school students with out-of-school STEAM programs in cooperation with field experts from enterprises, laboratories, and local governments to promote vocational opportunities.
Cultivating Korean Human Resources (Korea’s Promising Future Leaders Award)
Identifying creative individuals that create new values with passion, care for others, and contribute to the development of community. Making them an example of Korea’s quality of human resources in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
State-Designated Text Books
Compiling and publishing state-designated science and math textbooks for elementary schools.
Supporting Innovative Models of Science and Math Schools
Setting models to set the direction of innovation in science and math education. This is manifested in Science Core Schools, Creative Convergent Science Labs, and Math Schools.
Supporting Professional Development for Science and Math Teachers
Operating training programs, such as the IDEA Model Science Teachers’ Research Society, forums and workshops for mathematics teachers, Science Teacher of The Year Award, and Korea Award for Math Education, to cultivate excellent teachers.
Performing Policy Research for Science and Math Education
Performing basic research of the science and math curriculum, teaching materials, and standard of future generation science education, to establish long-term plans that are reflected in policy.
Establishing Positive Attitudes Toward Science and Math
Based on the Science, Math, Information Education Promotion Act (April 2018), we established an overall plan for science and math education and play a practical role in its implementation.
Establish National-Level Base for Science and Math Education
Providing a place of communication to raise nationwide awareness of the usefulness of science and math. Provide positive scientific experiences, and improvement to pedagogy.

Evaluating science and math textbooks to increase quality, remove errors and adjust to meet the curriculum.

Professionally supervising the compilation of science and math textbooks if requested by the Education Office of a city or province.

More than 10,000 college students take part in educational donation by providing a wide variety of creativity and character education programs for elementary, middle school, and high school students. We also support and cultivate individual educational donors within various professions and with various experiences.

Certifying and awarding outstanding enterprises, organizations, college students’ clubs, and schools that have contributed to the vitalization of educational donation activities.

Students of Education Colleges and clubs support the free learning semester classes as substitute teachers.

Selecting and awarding the best free learning semester class activity example. Hosting class concerts as a forum of sharing.

Planning, investigating, and researching creative convergence, science and math education projects and carrying out the institute’s own and entrusted tasks, and publishing annual reports.
