My sincere welcome goes out to all of you

Launched as the first organization under the name of the Association for Supporting Science and Technology, KOFAC has since enhanced the scientific knowledge of the Korean people, while planting seeds across Korean society to cultivate the scientific talents who will drive the future of our next generation.

In line with our 2008 expansion and reorganization into the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity, we have established ourselves as an organization that promotes science culture and cultivate creative talents reinforcing students’ competence in math, science, and informatics (SW and AI), thereby supporting their growth into creative and integrative future leaders.

Based on our accumulated experience, capabilities, and network, KOFAC will contribute to proliferate scientific culture and develop future leaders. We will serve as a platform allowing diverse members communicate based on scientific evidence, so that science and technology can be solidified as the solution for our country and society. Furthermore, we will create a new future in Korea by supporting the schools, teachers, and students aimed at promoting the future science and technology talents with scientific, technological, and digital knowledge required to lead our society.
